I had heard so much about the 9/11 movie of the week that aired tonight and
tomm. I really did plan on making my own opinion and watch it.... But you
know I just could not do it... to be honest I don't respect any
dramatization of such an event no matter how balanced it might be... making
up dialog to tell a story such as this just feels cheap . Flight 93 is a
movie I also could not watch and do not plan to... the feeling again of a
made up drama that we really know little about but paints a portrait of
something that happened... look we're showing you what happened but made
up... Yes I know there were some cell phone dialogs. And yet the World
Trade Center movie I went to see, so why is it that? That one I personally
did not judge as offensive... Well it's the true story of 2 fire fighters
saved from the rubble , they lived to tell there story, and if the facts
were off, no offense to anyone or to the facts of history.... If you didn't
like the movie, well that's another thing... Some people cry... what about
Michael Moore... well first of all his film was not put on our public
airways.. You had to make the choice and go pay for it... Plus Disney
refused to put it out... hmmmm, and you could rent farenhype 9/11 if you
needed to...
So as I was super tempted to tune to ABC tonight I found CBS was rerunning a
GREAT GREAT REAL!!!!!! Documentary of the fire fighter that went it...
Really a piece of history this film. I know my rant is scattered here, but
this is not an article to be polished, just some words on a screen of my
thoughts. I believe this ABC film even if there were no argument of
authenticity is bullshit... but that's what many many tv movies are about...
of course and hollywood..
Harvey Keitel speaks out here about his feeling on his part..

Not to mention that Fahrenheit 9/11 isn't interrupted by a live speech
from the president campaigning for his reign of terror.

The sheer unashamed propaganda of it makes me ill. Goebbels would be
proud.
