I was standing in front of my machine doing some calculations -
when our design engineer came up to me, ( we were brothers
as he was a veggie, and about the only other person in the
shop who was enlightened to the Grateful Dead, he was younger
than me, I used to give him shit about
being a 'touchhead', but he was cool and figured it all out.
"on the bus" so to say..) He had a solemn look on his face
and told me of the news, I asked if it was real, and he
said oh yea. I felt as if I lost my breath and lost a close
family member, and remember thinking, 'what now?'. It seems
as if it was only last month, or last year...
'oh, oh, what I want to know, is, where does the time go?'
