Then click 'browse by year', select a year from the resulting list.
This gives you all the shows from that year in ascending order, albeit
not on a single page. To switch to descending order, click 'Date'
under 'Sort by' on the right. That then grays out the same sort by
option, but just hit your Back button to go back to ascending.

Excellent! Not on one page, but at least helpful. On the blind tip,
the multiple page thing is a drag because I have to wade through a bunch
of crap to find out on which date the first page stops, in order to see
if the date I want will be on the second or third page. Of course, it
would be nice if they divided the year into predictable and equal
increments like three or four months. But, some years have more dates
and thus use more display pages.

yes - I have yet to figure out what possessed them to change the UI for
the worse. granted it's pretty petty to complain at all about such a
great resource; I guess the people who run it are too young to remember
'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'.

Dan Dority: "I'm old. I ain't a friend to change."

Al: "Change ain't lookin for friends. Change calls the tune we dance
to."
