Wish me luck, although hopefully my references and the quality of my work
will speak for itself and luck won't be a factor

If you weren't on the other coast I'd hire you to come fix my garage and
you could take three smoke-breaks a day so long as the work was done
right, pity. . . .

The interesting thing about working by myself is that time can really play
some tricks on you, especially if you are doing a repetitive (i.e. mindless)
task like grouting tile or painting,

Four or Five hours disappears into the space/time continuim in what feels
like five minutes
That is the main reason I listen to talkradio, (unless it is the weekend
then I listen to WUMB-UMass Boston or WUML-UMass Lowell, both those stations
play killer music on the Weekends, Mountain Stage, American Roots, plus the
local programs do too-but I digress)

I find that hearing conversation, even if it pisses me off, helps me keep
track of the day in a way that music doesn't.
