I tried really hard to not do this....
but when I saw the story disappear from yahoo news in under 12 hours, I
had to point this story out....for those of you who were working
OT....or doing something else.....
Yo Bob - check out the "silence is deafening" thread - this has been
addressed over there, in a sub-thread entitled "Reid takes the gift,
McCain pays".

Hey speaking of the "silence is deafening" thread, and FTM speaking of
silence:

So, I welcome full PUBLIC hearings, articles of impeachment, public

My only prerequisite is that your party (the Dems) have to have the
balls to do it.
I smell a double-standard: Why is it that you require that the Dems
have the balls, but not the Repubs? Do you not think that it is the
responsibility of everyone in Congress to ensure that the President
stays within the law, and holds him accountable when he doesn't?

Well?

Ray

you smell a double standard? thats too funny.....

We already discussed this? in the previous thread it was mentioned? this is front page news if Reid is a republican...or better yet..anything but a democrat....
Do not confuse me with a republican....I have stated (in a previous thread...lol) that i think both parties are screwing us.

If you're not a republican than please point out the hypocracy of the
republicans with an equal amount of zeal that you use with the
democrats. Your actions strongly suggest that you are a republican
regardless of how many times you claim you are not.

Maybe you just haven't heard other opinions of mine...I think the hypocrisy lies with people who pat each other on the back while wishing for a return to the '60's. I've said this before: both parties do things wrong. I like to think I can point out fault on both sides, whereas this group has the inability to find fault in anyone other than what can be described as thinking from liberal think tanks.

There are many issues the Republicans have on their platform that I disagree with. There are many I agree with.

Hypocrisy is the act of pretending to have morals or virtues that one
does not truly possess or practice. The word derives from the late Latin
hypocrisis and Greek hupokrisis both meaning play-acting or pretence.

So....I suggest those that can follow a "strict" party line are in fact the hypocrits. How can it be possible to agree with everything either party says, unless you are in fact a hypocrite?
