Ultra fractal.
Yikes, that's expensive.
I gave up checking on the windows port of Fractint, I'll have to go
look it up again.
Does anyone know of a nice, free, Windows based Fractal generator /
animator?
I started making fractals in the late 1980s and trust me that Ultra
fractal is the way to go. Spend a few dollars and get a real program.
The new version is incredible.
Oh, I believe you, that's not the issue at all! I can't / won't spend
$60 for a fractal program, it's just not that high a priority for me.
I'm sure the program is awesome . . . I do remember spending lots of
time and have lots of fun with fractint back in the day, so I'll keep
looking, very casually, for something free or super cheap.
I forgot to mention in my last reply that Tierazon is another decent
freeware fractal generator. It's good for creating more traditional
fractal images, but I don't use it all that often, so it's probably
capable of doing *lots* more than I've come up with.
