Exactly right, I mean bombing the hell out of Pat Robertson and
Jerry Falwell would only strengthen their primitive and backward
cultures.
But worldwide telecommunications and advertising moguls can hardly be called primitive and backward.
Al Queda operatives use sophisticated cryptography and
satellites to communicate and the Iranians have joined
the nuclear nation club, so by your reckoning they could
hardly be called primitive and backward.
Nope, still primitive and backward. Giving a monkey the car keys doesn't make him a race car driver.

Our Xtian freaks use words. The Muslim freaks strap suicide bomb belts onto to their children and whoop and holler like British soccer fans when one blows up.

Fundamentalists of any stripe are primitive and backward whether
they be Muslim or Christian. Most Muslims are not suicide bombers
just as most Christians don't blow up abortion clinics or shoot
gynecologists with sniper rifles.

Most Muslims in the Arab and Persian world are anti-modernity, preferring a primitive, religion dominated lifestyle. For the whole country. By law. Their societies have made little contribution to the world besides providing oil resources and billionaire royal clans. So different than the institutionalized religious tolerance found in the modern world, and so different than the higher education obsessed west and east. Progress is a dirty word in much of the Muslim world. They fall farther and farther behind each year, and blame their poverty and misery on those who believe in human development and economic advancement.

Geezus Toad, where on earth do you come up with this *** ?
Sweeping, spurious and pejorative generalizations about whole
cultures and societies smells a whole lot like racism. How
many Muslims do you actually know ? Ever sat down and had a
real conversation with an Iranian grad student ? I'm fortunate
to live in a University town I guess, but you definitely need
to get out more.
