My SUBWOOFERS are back up & running!
I just got up the nerve after some encouragement from a friend to pull
my SUBWOOFERS out of storage and back into my domain.
Oh how I have missed my SUBWOOFERS!
Now with my radio (Sirius) it is so succulent! I mean my music goes down
& dirty. Satellite radio was meant to be driven by a SUBWOOFER!
You just can not believe it!
As of now I have a new neighbor and he works all the time and is never
home. Which means booie has free reign of the volume. Even it the
morning t goes down so deep.
For the set up I have now are 2 Bazooka bass tubes. Each one houses a 10
inch SUBWOOFER. I have always liked the design of the original Bazooka
tube.
It is just engineered just right.
Does anyone here know the placement of these kind of tubes. I have
always heard that you are supposed to face them with the speaker firing
about 6 inches away from the wall. Is that right.
The bass tubes are powered by and old Onkyo amp. I devoted the whole to
be a SUB amp via electronic crossover.
I love devoting amps to be just
dedicated to giving me my bass.
I also love my radio (Sirius), and now I am back in love with my
SUBWOOFERS.
