Spring and the Grateful Dead

We are having an early taste of spring here in Upstate New York. It was
sunny and in the mid-50s for the morning commute. For the soundtrack, I
chose DP 29 and popped in Disc 5 for a fine Scarlet>Fire.
For me, spring and the Grateful Dead are like wine and cheese,
lemongrass and pork, sex and violence...pleasures nearly inextricable
from each other.
Spring tour marked a bright rebirth after a long, cloudy winter. With
the right timing, like April '82, you could drive down South into Spring
and follow the season and the Dead back up north. OK, so it snowed in
Philly, whaddyagonnadoaboudit?
I have to dig around and figure out which of my CD binders has June '74
in it. These times, this weather demand a 6/74 Eyes!
