Re: Billy Joel...

A lot of people here will give you shit for admitting you like him, but
I'll give you props for doing so... I haven't listened to much of his
stuff in a long time myself (I mean, he hasn't had a new album in
nearly 13 years), but I always liked him. Say what you will about him,
but he can play... A few cheesy singles here and there, but many of
his lesser-known album tracks are excellent IMO, and I think he
maintained a high level of quality throughout his career (while he was
still writing pop/rock songs). Apparently he's playing more of those
obscure tunes on the current tour.

I used to really like his live shows, which sounded a lot "tougher"
than most of his studio output, but he started mailing it in years ago.
I doubt he plays with the same level of energy as he did in his
younger days, but now that he's cleaned up his act he's probably doing
better shows than the past couple of times I saw him. I'd be
interested in hearing that one, if the sound quality is good. Drop me
a line, DG and if you're willing to trade of B&P we'll work something
out.

Don't take any shit from anybody. ;-)

Thanks,
Shaun

How does that go again??

Oh yeah...

It's not my cup of tea, and I'm moving on.
