The reason is that there Americans at the top of the food chain who are
making millions because of this state of affairs. They don't care if the
average american lives well or not. It's ultimately suicidal, but we are
driven by the fast mega buck these days. GM is now outsourcing to India
and Ford employees can't park their Subarus or even GM cars at work.
Everytime we have another Free Trade Agreement, it gets worse for the
workers, who, after all, are the average Americans. Welcome to trickle
down economics, otherwise known as supply side or ownership society.
It's morally reprehensible, if you ask me, and it's something that a
Supreme Court weighted on the right will only make worse.
