NDC-Dow ends the year in negative territory.

Lets rehash the mortgage vs cash options when buying a house.

Someone here said paying cash for a home was a bad idea because they could
invest the cash freed up by a mortgage and make a better rate of return that
the cost of the mortgage.

Well, it looks like 2005 was a bad year to start that plan!

The Dow fell 67.32, or 0.62 percent, to 10,717.50. The Dow needed to remain
above 10,783.01 for a positive 2005.

OOPS!
