you said Jerry would never charge us for the shows; DPs are just CDs of
shows. My guess is that he was probably too much of a conflict avoider
to ever make such a strong stand as to never allow or disallow
anything, really. If everyone else was pounding the table demanding
that the vault be sold, I picture his reaction more in the vein of
'whatever, it's your trip - do what you want'. If you think about it,
that's really the attitude behind his original premise of 'once were
done with it, the audience can have it'. He wouldn't have wanted to
deal with the BS either way.
