I really enjoyed the whole 10/31/92 show, including the opening set by
Vince Welnick and the Affordables. Kesey acted as master of cermonies
for a costume party in between the Affordables set and the first Jerry
set, winners were announce between Jerry sets (I remember a couple
that dressed up as a light bulb and socket, put the bulb in the socket
and watch it light up).
The Werewolves was fun, I caught the JGB doing one the next year at
the Meadowlands as well. Never saw the full Dead do a Werewolves.
Although the Werewolves was fun, and it was great to hear Jerry
wailing away on it there are several Dead versions I prefer, inlcuding
5/11/78.
Plenty of people ran DAT and cassette at the show, good tapes/discs
should circulate. I know the recording we did (Schoeps
MK-4->Reutelhuber Box->DAT) is out there. Oddly, although I was
involved in recording the show I don't have a copy except on dbx
cassette (I wasn't running DAT myself at the time but helped get the
gear in and helped in the overall taping process).
