And produced..........by Jeff Lynne.
The sound is tremendous, almost a Phil Spectoresque thing for a live show.
After obsessing on this DVD for days now, repeated viewings show that he
would ratchet up the sound oh so slightly for those on camera at the time,
even if for just a moment. At some points there were four drummers on full
kits and 2 percussionists. Who knew who was doing what? But show Keltner
and all of a sudden that little fill can be heard through the din. Show
Ringo and that cymbal crash can be heard. Show Capaldi and even that little
rattle thing he was shaking can be heard. Same with all instruments and
everyone on stage.
Its all very seamless unless you pay really close attention or watch it 100
times like I did.
