Yes I'm looking forward to getting this, sounds from what I've heard
like his best release since Arc-Weld.
When did Jumbo turn into such a grumpy old man?
Not sure why you'd take my comment that way, Brother Real. I've
enjoyed many of Neil's post-Weld albums (Harvest Moon, Broken Arrow,
Road Rock, Chrome Dreams II, Le Noise), but Weld belongs, imo, in best
albums of all times lists, whereas others since then don't quite, as a
whole package. Chrome Dreams II is brilliant, though (I did forget
about that one when I posted...). Even so, this new one sounds like it
might be more cohesive, just liked Weld, so I'll stand by my comment.
I assume you think I'm being "old" because it's a covers albums, well,
so be it, but I haven't turned into that grump, I've always expressed
that kind of view on here. I've always rated Good As I Been To You so
highly that I drew gasps of shock and disbelief from the likes of
young Brother Rose. I'd call GAIBTY Bob's best since Nashville
Skyline, for example. I don't see covers albums as lesser in any
creative sense than so-called original albums.
