Can you blame them?  Again, shouldn't that be pointed at somebody

they respond.

Treadleson, you have become one of rmd's greatest cranks. Someone should
collect your posts from the last month and publish them.

Hmmm. Let me get back to you about that.

There are people in rmd who really try to generate discussion. And there
area those who try to shut down discussion, as if they are afraid to
listen to new ideas.

What a wonderful example of sophistry.

Your attempts to shut down Jinx and now me are rather shameful. But I'm
afraid you are so unaware of your own motivations that I forgive you
because you know not what you do.

I'm afraid that it's you who are unaware of my motivations, it's you
who know not what I do. Otherwise you wouldn't try to shame me. In
fact, you're the only person in this ng who has a habit of trying to
shame people. By the by, this is a blatant violation of the bylaws,
which you need to be aware of. I've said to the point that I sound
like a broken record that I will call you on your you-know-what, which
you seem to think you can spread around with impunity under the guise
of "new ideas." And you seem to think that nobody should disagree
with your ideas--even when they're not backed up! Not only that, you
will distort, misrepresent, name call, present opinions as facts,
refuse to answer questions about these assertions, make bigoted cracks
about other people's religious or political views, contemptuously
scoff at ideas not your own--and all of this on a regular basis. And
then you have the cheek to call this "new ideas." And, in point of
fact, I'm not shutting down discussion. Quite the contrary. I'm
saying, put your money where your mouth is; everybody else does. How
is it that you get excused? And from what I see, this actually
generates a lot of discussion rather than shutting it down, as you
say. And it's not only me who objects. Other people continually tell
you you're a troll, a trolly troll, disingenuous, intolerant...need I
go on? And recently, somebody very understandably carved you a new
one because of your insufferable smugness. I wouldn't call you
shameful, a) 'cause it's not cool, and b) because of the bylaws. But
I'd call how you commonly act shameLESS, meaning without shame.
