Ain't that the truth. Instead being but a memory, he got to be Bob.

I like the rebel better than the Bible-thumping billionaire.

I like the person who has been, for as long as i have known about him,
openin' himself to new ways, sonic ways and sometimes other ways.
Many new pathways of sounds and kavvanot he carries through this Bob
Dylan. All of this and more keeps me interested, probably because I
do appreciate radical amazement. As did Rabbi Joshua Heschel~~~. Reb
Zalman Schachter Shalomi translated some of Joshua Heshchel poems
from Yiddish to English. Certainly worth getting and reading for those
inclined. Reb Zalman also translated one of the finest works of Reb
Nachman of Bratzlav, The tale of the Seven Beggars; and then he went
on to audio record it. This too is amazing.

Did the two (Bob Dylan and Reb Zalman) ever meet?

I wonder.
