That's great. I think Bob has long had fantasies of being an artist,
with a Van Gogh temperament and lifestyle, the beret and the works.
I'm thinking of "When I Paint My Masterpiece", which some people think
is narrated by an artist, though I presume they are open to other
interpretations, and the guy in Highlands who draws waitresses as she
sees them/ That song obviously is narrated by an artist, unless of
course, anyone thinks otherwise, which is fine. And wasn't Just Like
Tom Thumb's Blues said to be about a painter? Obviously it's about a
sad dwarf on one level but...
