Hi Dudley,
What a nice surprise to find your Self-Study here on RMD today. I've
listened to it in its entirely
and already have it on a disc for purposes of travel. Nice to have the
artwork too. I had a number of the readings, but it's wonderful to
have them in one place among your other offerings. Interesting that
Leonard Cohen gave that reading (I didn't have this one) on
Valentine's Day all those years ago. I really enjoyed Hoyt Axton's
"Geronimo's Cadillac" and Merle Haggard's "America First" (Didn't have
either). Your sequencing was dandy -- the way you used John McLaughlin
snippets and two  different time periods for Bob's "I Shall Be
Released". The more things change... , eh?  Thanks for your gift. It
gives us another peek into what makes you tick. It might be fun if
more of us put together something like this to reveal our interests a
bit more. Mine wouldn't have the authenticity that comes from home
recordings, and I don't know who else's would. But I'm sure a number
of RMDers could put together some show selections on a theme.
Something to think about. Thanks again, 'Perfesser".

Dear Babs,

Just like a woman to note Leonard's reading was on V-Day. Passed me by
entirely.

I too wd not be loathe to seeing others of our brethren & sistren put
these things together. I've got some of my best tapes/CDs based on the
tradition of, I think they used ta be called "mixTapes" or someSuch:

& a happy Buffy's 67th bDay to yuh.
