Rock legend Bob Dylan is asking fans to send clips to YouTube to
create a video for classic single Like A Rolling Stone.
Dylan, 66, wants to see fans singing or reading the song in an
inventive style.
The 1965 track was declared the greatest ever by Rolling Stone
magazine.
And record company Sony BMG has teamed up with YouTube to create the
tune's first video.
Dylan's editing team will merge the best clips in the online
competition.
One fan said: "It's such an amazing song - and to let the fans make
the video is unbelievable."

I refuse to accept this as anything other than April Fools' Day
because any other possible interpretation will make my head explode.
Happy Halloween, everyone. I'm already good and frightened now.- Hide quoted text -

Seriously, I don't believe it either.
Or it's not really from Dylan.
No way.- Hide quoted text -

I wrote a post which didn't go through, but I waited very patiently
like a good girl, checked talkaboutthemusic consistently, and now it's
gone.
Did I save it?
No, of course not. I'm a bonehead.
Well, anyway.
I wrote that maybe it did come from Dylan, but it doesn't mean he
wastes his valuable time reading this sh*t. It's just a ploy to make
people excited. Think about it, the way they say "plea" and all that,
like he is sitting at his computer reading all the comments on Bob
Dylan Youtube videos etc...
Sure.
I wonder what Bob Dylan is doing RIGHT NOW!!!! (I wrote that before,
obviously because a part of me still was tricked by that plea,
thinking maybe he will read this. It was a thought off the top of my
head, wondering where he be, and then imagining him reading it. It was
stupid.)
He's probably, at the time I wrote this before, was relaxing under a
Swedish massage or something after a hard morning working out and
swimming.
I wonder if it's the kind of massage with a happy ending.
Who cares?
Why not?
It's not like he cares one way or the other.
(I wrote something like that. I don't remember how it goes.)
