I also find it ironic that Mr. Pagel wrote September 23rd, and Bob
played Chimes of Freedom, and that was the night I was arrested at the
dummy entrance to his house by some drunk dude who tried to look down
my shirt.....
at my great big titties.
that wasn't funny. sorry, i just don't wanna go to sleep. i don't know
what to do. i can't watch t.v. with my five minute attention span. i
mean, what, is bob dylan going to come to me through the television?
rmd is all i got. :(
i got like, all these stories to tell from the hospital, but i'm just
too lazy, i don't feel like writing them, i can't remember how they go
EXACTLY, and i'm just kinda like in this blah mood.
i told a racist joke to julian. it was because i couldn't think of
anything else to say. he kept telling me i'm lazy, and i was saying, i
am not, including for example that when i lived here and was playing
tennis, i loved doing the housework, i had a great great time. i
started writing bob dylan letters. and he kept saying you're lazy and
i needed a come back, so finally i just said, i'm black (i seriously
didn't mean it as an insult in any way because i think black people
are beautiful, whatever that means, whatever, anyway) so then i was
trying to think, it's joke, it's supposed to be funny, laugh, and i
tried, i did a little, but then i was like, that was a mistake, it's
not funny, i shouldn't have said it, saying i can't get over my
american guilt, i can't forget, and he said it was ok, but it wasn't.
actually, one of my stories involves this black dude at the hospital,
a staff, and him saying to me, i'm not a slave (i swear to G-d this
guy had an attitude, with everybody, it was his first day, in my book,
and i was so obsequious, i was like "sir, could you please put out
more coffee?" even more obsequious than that, like, we are SUPPOSED to
always have it set out, but it was always out, and he ignored me, i
asked him like three times, in the hallway, then he said, "you've
asked me four times already and i've said ok" and it was a total lie,
he didn't answer me, but i had to pretend like it was true, not to
cause a war, and say, oh, i didn't hear you, and then later he said
"we're not slaves" and then later, before the coffee came out (and
somebody else asked for it, too) he was totally messing around, i
can't remember exactly, but then he was covering up his messing
around, (TRYING TO, not to me, trust me, i was totally on top of
this), like "why are you looking that way? why do you have this mad
look on your face?" (i'm serious, he was fucked up) anyway, oh, so I
could only play his card, in order to get the coffee, (decaf ***),
and said, oh nothing, and smiled, anyway, so much later, someone is
asking him something in the hallway, and i was walking by, and she was
asking him to do something, and he was giving her some snotty run
around, and then i said loudly to her, but really for him (and for me,
i got a kick out of it), "He's not a SLAVE!" and he smiled, he thought
it was funny, (inside, like, he knew i knew he was fucking around with
us before, playing the power trip) anyway, and later i had to tell
that lady, it was an inside joke, because she was offended that i was
so down on her, come to think of it, in the hallway, too, because she
was like, wtf? she didn't know where it came from.
anyway, see, that story sucks because i don't remember it exactly.
