In the absence, for good or bad, of really real, i'm responding here.
It is to be hoped more civilly & less confrontationally, since all
good people are my kind of people.

I share yr disdain for "Limousine Liberals".

I have also contempt for, o, "Cadillac Conservatives".

Chauffered folk of whatever political stripe.

Certainly Gore, as rightWing commentators fondly point out, living in
his energy inEfficient mansion on the hill, could have, possible voter
fraud tampering issues aside, been president in 2000. He won the
popular vote. All he had to do to win the Electoral College was to
*carry his own home state*. !!! Brighter minds than mine can
contradict this, sufficient data required.

On the other hand, as has been pointed out 'round hear, his current
environmental efforts are likely better directed than those of some
other politicians making bucks out of past glory in what amount to
well paid gladhanding. Too many to enumerate both sides fencewise.

If nothing else, his possibly OverTheTop protestations proceed in a
better direction than the punditz who blather "there's no science to
support global warming", or as falsely "there's no science to support
global climatic change being due to Man's doing", & soForth, while the
oilRich get richer (yes, i know he has interests in BP).

As to Gore's dylan crutch, it's likely better than any Fleetwood Mac
reference. Had he quoted "Tusk", we wdn't be discussing this issue. At
least he & Tipper have good taste in music.

AAALLL of that said, there is no scientific evidence to disprove my
Granma's assertion that "the world's gone to hell in a handbasket with
failed brakes"; that is, irrevocably on the road to its own demise.
