Summer Days - Why?
Had a listen to the Stockholm 28th show this morning. How good to hear
Bobs little guitar breaks again! "Honest With Me" has had a reworking
and is now passing as listenable (reminds me in places now of a Deep
Purple MkII album track, can't remember which one).
Like last year that carousel/fairground keyboard sound does nothing
for any of the songs. Its like a 4year old playing at random with an
old Casio keyboard, stop it Bob please.
"Summer Days" is still the biggest waste of a concert slot ever. Time
and songs are limited when playing live and this song is - and always
has been - awfull. An outtake from Self Portrait would be better. Why
waste the time with this garage rock dirge I'll never understand when
there are so many other tracks Bob could turn to.
