muscle spasm. sorry.
also, i had this weird theory that maybe i got the disease through
this:
one time i was doing speed, i did it here in the office, and he came
in, to talk to me, and was looking at the speed, and reached out to
touch it with his finger.
i thought maybe i could have contracted it that way.
man, i sure hate drugs now, for all reasons.

Dear RMD,
Hi. I didn't want you to think I wasn't posting for some kind of
emotional upset reason. I'm just really tired. I actually JUST got up!
:0!
Something kind of happened last night where I flipped out about Ken. He
told me a long time ago the disease wasn't contagious, and explained
it, and I believed him way back then, because it had to do with nerve
damage, but he was mad at me for FINALLY hounding him about the $11 he
owed me from a taxi ride a long time ago, and THAT's when he told me,
and he was so MEAN about the money, *and* what he told me, I no longer
trusted him, and I started to worry about the numbness and pricklies I
experience in my left arm when I wake up, and some muscle pain I am
experiencing in my feet (maybe it's because I am so fat!).
I was trying to look his disease up on the Internet, but there was
almost nothing about it, and it turns out, I had the letters wrong
(RSD, I thought it was RSF) and it was after office hours, and I was so
worried, I went to the hospital to find out. Then I called Ken after I
was there, who had stormed out of the house, after coming back from the
doctor, to check with him about it, and got the right letters, and then
found out from the doctor two things. One, it's not contagious. And
two, it DOES NOT KILL. So I told Ken this, and he said well, are they
neurologists, he didn't think they really knew. But he said he's
getting a second opinion. Anyway, I'm just exhausted, and now I've
ordered some California Vegan food (YUM!) and am going to veg out and
watch two hours of 90210.
I'm believe Ken and the doctor, although now there are two conflicing
reports, about whether it can kill you or not, and also, I know Cedars
is not all that great. When I went there for the "muscle spas," (that
was in fact my diagnosis), it turned out I found out later from my
regular doctor's prescription for an X-ray, which I took at UCLA, which
is a wonderful hospital, that it was indeed a cracked rib. Even the
doctor, mine, I go to two of the them when I feel like it, messed up,
because I told him specifically where the pain was and where I wanted
the X-ray, and the prescription was for the middle of my spine, and I
had to INSIST, I was SO MAD at him, for them to call him back and give
the order for my right side. Turns out I was right, of course, because
that's exactly where the pain was, and it was a cracked rib.
Alright, 90210 time. :)
Love,
Rachel
