I don't believe Elvis Costello has written anything to top either
Astral Weeks or Moondance.


I can understand that. Those were very wonderful albums at the time.

As much as I liked those two albums, however, I never played them as much as I played Armed Forces. And I think Trust and Imperial Bedroom are good matches for Astral Weeks and Moondance.

The Van Morrison album I play most in the 21st century is The Bang Sessions.
