Actually, Self Portrait, Nashville Skyline and Dylan (that's right,
Dylan!) are the 3 biggest girl-pleasers in his catalog, at least in
this man's living room. Stack 'em up with The Band and let the night
unfold. Great halcyonic bridge between the riotous sixties and the
high-rev seventies...
For some weird reason, Love and Theft is getting in there too...
Okay, let me get this straight....You play THESE albums and the ladies
put out??? Thanks for the tip. And here I am still trying to score
with Barry White! No wonder I'm not getting any action.

Hey, I didn't say that those three were the best for that purpose, only
the best that Bob has done for that purpose.
Heck, if you want seduction music, there's a whole mess of stuff out
there that'll get the job done. Al Green, Billy Paul, Luther Vandross,
Teddy Pendergrass, Yanni, BW. Even ole' blue eyes himself. And of
course, there's always Elvis.
But I am way settled and beyond that now. Now it's a matter of moods,
not seductions.
But compared to those 3, a lot of Bob's other stuff is guaranteed to
attract the politicos, literary zoons and head cases and will
definitely result in some pretty deep conversations. NS, SP and D do
not.
