I remember some great nights on dylanchat. I was recovering from life at my
mothers house for the first half of 2000 and had some great sessions. is
there any comparable chat these days? the speed of response and the cool
group of people was a great experience. even the colon debacle was
funny. there were some hidden agendas and some background intrigues, but
that all added to the feel of the room. it was a good time i think

yep, me too but only briefly as noneutralground.

It was my first ever chat room experience and i recall being so excited at
meeting like minded folk who shared my passion for the mans music, without
frothing at the mouth.

That very first night I logged in I met raven, who was very sweet I
recall,
and then had the longest conversation with someone from the other side of
the world. Finally realising it was 5am, wow, i thought how did that
happen.

I've been away from rmd a long time, watching occasionally via google.

to see some members misusing it, but inspired by this post I thought I
would
join in again.
