UK Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

A question for my friends in England, how many years has this event been
going on?
I caught it last night on VH1. So many greats were being inducted, including
our Bob, Hendrix, Kinks, Who, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath. I need to do more
research. Was it the Beatles and Stones inducted last year? Thanks..
