well, what exactly is a protest song? a song you sing at a protest. i'm
pretty sure that most of dylan's "protest" songs were ever sung by him
at a protest.
i dont think he wrote too many songs to protest something. most of them
were probably for money, fame, or because they came to him.
and most of his early music could even be construed as protesting
something anyway.
besides, whats the use in labeling anyway. it only limits.
