(For Immediate Release) Late night radio talk show
announced his retirement on his Sunday broadcast
July 2, 2007. None of the dramatic speeches that
permeated Bell's previous three retirements in
but "to dedicate more time to my lovely wife and baby."
An insider with Premier spoke on the condition
of anonymity that Mr. Bell was upset with the UFO Phil song
"Listening to Coast to Coast
(http://www.ufophil.com/media/coast2coast2.mp3)."
The song contains lyrics to the effect "Well ya never
knew that your baby was a hybrid but as he grew you
began to see the clues. Now you know the signs 'cause
ya learned it from George Noory even as you sleep
you've got Martians watching you" literally "drove the elder
talk show host "ape" says the insider. Bell and his
beautiful wife, Erin just had a baby last month.
Art Bell, an aficionado of shortwave radio spent
approximately eight months in the Philippines before
returning to a surprised audience this past spring.
Current weekday host George Noory declined to
be interviewed, sniveled then barked as he hurriedly
left the KFI radio complex "the master will be missed!"
One elder lady, leaving the complex, inquired about the
hoopla then hysterically broke down in tears in a heavy
southern accent "I will miss Mr Bell Godspeed."
The skilled orator Art Bell has been compared to
the legendary Orson Welles.
