Steve Jarrott Show On Suspension
This Thursday's edition of Steve Jarrott will be the last and there's no word about further status. Host Jarrott has suspended production until he gets another job. In the meantime, reruns of The Best of Dave's Gone By will air in the Thursday at 10pm ET time period.
Kahnman Comedy Corner Returning This Fall
I just got word from host Tyrone Kahn that he will be resuming production of his weekly radio show called "Kahnman's Comedy Corner" but no definite date has been set to air them on dfsx.
Note that starting in July, reruns of Kahnman will be taking a break and the DFSX Time Machine will move to Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT, opening up Wednesday nights for the X-Pod to run!

What is D.T.'s X-Pod?
Simply put, it's the times when you don't hear any specialty shows and all of the songs are randomized. You never know what's coming up next, in fact, we change most of the songs every three weeks to keep the playlist fresh. The X-Pod has introductions to some of the songs that were submitted by the musicians, else there's no other talking between songs. You can listen to the X-Pod most times between 2am and 8pm Eastern Time and all Saturday nights when we don't do specialty shows! Listen all you want. We'll upload more!

DO YOU WANT A RADIO SHOW ON DFSX?
Requirements:
1. knowledge of editing and properly tagging MP3 files. Each MP3 is tagged with the artist, song title, and name of album (if applicable).
2. know how to rip a CD or other recorded material into MP3 files 128kbps, 44khz, stereo (constant bitrate).
3. able to produce at least two shows a month with the following times to accomodate free listeners (50 minutes, 1:45, or 2:40).
4. able to record your announcements onto MP3 format.
5. require to supply a playlist in electronic form with each show.
6. know how to add a prefix to the names of the MP3 files so that they are sorted in the order that the songs and announcements will play in the correct order.
7. shows are pre-recorded. Sorry. live broadcasts cannot be accompanied.
