New Show Coming to DFSXRadio.com April 30
A new show featuring a mix of nostalgia, oldies, and comedy music will be debuting on DFSXRadio.com and will be running on Sunday nights. More details are coming soon.
DFSX Time Machine Not Leaving
The DFSX Time Machine will air its final new subject at the end of June, but due to e-mail demand, the show will be staying on the schedule in reruns beginning in July. In case you missed a year, e-mail me at dfsx@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and request a year to be run during the summer.
New Playlist Pages Coming
You asked for dfsxradio to make it easier for you to find playlists for the specialty shows that run. They're coming in two weeks. Each show will have its own section as well as linking to its own playlists. More info later.
Playlist Updated
Sorry about the long gap in updating the randomized playlist when no specialty shows are airing, but live365 had some array problem that cause the stats for the songs to be frozen at April 5 until they were fixed on April 15. A whole load of new songs have been added, while more than half of the songs playing have been taken off, as we rotate the songs to keep it fresh.

DO YOU WANT A RADIO SHOW ON DFSX?
Requirements:
1. knowledge of editing and properly tagging MP3 files. Each MP3 is tagged with the artist, song title, and name of album (if applicable).
2. know how to rip a CD or other recorded material into MP3 files 128kbps, 44khz, stereo (constant bitrate).
3. able to produce at least two shows a month with the following times to accomodate free listeners (50 minutes, 1:45, or 2:40).
4. able to record your announcements onto MP3 format.
5. require to supply a playlist in electronic form with each show.
6. know how to add a prefix to the names of the MP3 files so that they are sorted in the order that the songs and announcements will play in the correct order.
7. shows are pre-recorded. Sorry. live broadcasts cannot be accompanied.
