I actually had to get rid of a bunch of books when I started school so that I would have room for my new text books & CDs.
Too bad.
Not a big deal - they were only old accounting & finance texts (I still have all my math & most of my computer science books), so I didn't mind & I think I've cleared out enough space that I will be OK until I graduate. At some point I might finish the accounting designation, but a lot changes over the years (especially regarding taxation and financial reporting standards) & I would need new texts anyway.
Aren't we lucky that musical performances are timeless?
Many are, but not all. It can be interesting to go back to old recordings and compare them to how the same piece is performed today - some, especially early music, are very different.
Does that mean you're going to throw away the older recordings, Nightingale?

How could I compare them to current ones if I did that?
