Te Nazis or any other totalitarian regime don't even come close to
what the RCC has done to humankind. Of course, they had a lot of time,
many centuries. And they used that time well to suppress and exploit
and send countless millions of people directly to hell.

It
tried to keep people dumb and easy to manipulate, it resisted all
scientific progress to which we owe all the improvements in our lives
today. As do you, Bob, without acknowledging that all that progress
that has made your life so much better than it would have been in the
middle ages was made *against* your church which did not want people
to question their fairy tale based - and, as it turned out, completely
wrong - view of the world and the universe we live in.

History shows exactly what the RCC is: just an immensely power hungry
and hypocritical organization which has hijacked that whole Jesus
thing because it was so useful in controlling people. The RCC was of
course shaped by history and by reacting to it, by constantly
realigning itself to the demands of worldly powers.

Everything it has done in history comes down to helping the worldly
powers suppress the ordinary people their idol Jesus said they should
care for. Instead, they helped exploit, torture and kill them by the
millions. Countless millions of people which were killed by and for
the RCC. It's the worst thing that ever happened to humankind.
