Huh? That's pretty illogical, even for you. Every man is responsible
for
his actions, and must account for himself. Every man.

Your free-floating insults don't change the fact that you are ignoring
everybody except the man at the top. Am I mistaken in presuming that it
takes a lot of others to carry out the orders and do all the actual
killing in these cases? Or that the actual killers were as religious as
anybody?

Sigh. You insult waaaay too easily. Note what I said:

You drop insults almost as easily as you squeal about them when somebody
gives one back.

Every man is responsible for his actions, and must account for
himself. Every man.

How, please, is that the equivalent of 'ignoring everybody except the
man at the top'?

Because when you tote up for purposes of impugning someone's belief, you
ignore the millions and count the one. You lard your speech with noble
sentiments, but when you sum up, those seem to be ignored.

I have no idea of the religiosity or lack thereof of anyone who did the
'actual killing'. To the extent the killing in question was illicit
(i.e., not done in self-defense or as appropriate action undertaken in a
just war), they bear responsibility, and in the case of those who
professed to be Christians, what they did violated those beliefs.
Nonetheless, those whose orders led to those unjust acts bear a greater
responsibility. That's why we hanged Jodl and Tojo, but not the private
soldiers under their command, unless those private soldiers were found
guilty of specific illegal acts.

So you won't bother to count them, eh? You are sure about all the
atheists you indict, but you'll give the others a free pass.

Sorry, but if you are going to persist in so misconstruing what I say, there's no point in continuing.
