Don't be so sure!  How many "friends" do you count in this group?

None.

I could rest my case right here. Paging Dale Carnegie!

I don't think you suffer from lack of wit, only lack of tact.

In real life, it is a better "technique", too, to find real friends to
tell people just directly what you think.

There are ways of telling people what you think without sharp edges.
That you choose not to indulge in them could be seen as a lack of
effort on your part. Or worse, as a lack of caring.

It quickly and effectively
separates the pseudos from those with real character and substance.

I regret that I rarely find out anything about someone by telling them
what I think of them.

People who have that don't mind getting challenged - in fact, they
often enjoy it.

How often do you find people who enjoy it when you tell them how
ignorant they are and that they are simply not equipped to know the
answer to a particular question? How would you characterize their
response?

Man, I love self-congratulating pompous BS like yours above. It is so
easy to take out of your hand and smear it in your face.

Obviously, you do enjoy pointing out your perceptions of the
inadequacies of others, especially when compared to your self-professed
vast experience. You might want to explore why you enjoy this and what
need in you this fulfills.

But thanks for the tips!

Anytime, always trying to be helpful.
