In fact, if you add the item to a wish list, then go look at teh wish
list, the listing will say "This item has been discontinued by the
manufacturer.", which I believe the CEO of BIS will resoundingly say
is a total misrepresentation. I don't even know of any items form BIS
that have been "discontinued by the manufacturer" , though I am sure
there are some.

I recommended this SACD with great passion to a friend recently. She
came back and asked me why it was discontinued if it is as great as I
say it is, especially when it was only released less than four years
ago. I suggested some other web sites to her, and she eventually got
it, but she shops Amazon a lot, and was not very excited about having
to use another site or a Marketplace seller.

Sloppy work like this by the likes of Amazon make it tough to generate
enthusiasm for great music sometimes. I read recently that Amazon
wants to become the top seller of classical recordings, downloads and
hard media included.

Anyone else found other bone headed misrepresentations like this?
Maybe if we gather enough of them together someone up there is
Washington state will take notice and get the Amazon act together.

Dear Randy and List,

Yes, I am the CEO of BIS, and, no, I will not call it a
misrepresentation - it is a (sorry for my choice of words here) A DAMN
LIE! Of course we have it constantly on stock, and moreover, so does
my US importer, Qualiton Imports. Also other countries, whence Amazon
may take stock, have it.
You're wrong in your supposition that there "are some" deletions
within the BIS family. There aren't. 35 years we've been doing this,
and the results are all there, in stock, in circulation, some 1'600
CD:s/SACD:s.

I will get onto this matter immediately. Bastards.

Best - Robert
