I believe that the SL-1200 model is (was) the basis of a modified
table to accept 78 playback and extended pitch adjustments. I can't
remember who the manufacturer is but I believe that it was sold
through Esoteric Sound and (for a while anyway) KAB America (KABUSA)
Haven't looked in years, though.
I do remember that some of the tables, with additional features &
headshells and cartridges, got a bit pricey. But the quality of the
product was considered very good.
