I just 1-clicked it on Amazon ($9.97 new from Amazon itself) so it's worth
a try. I don't know how I missed reading about such a major musical.

Won three Tony Awards, too -- Best Musical, Best Book, Best Original Score.
That's what I get for not watching the televised ceremony any more. (I used
to watch all the major awards shows, but now it's just the Oscars.) It was a
friend of mine raving about the tour production -- which has long since moved
on, dammit -- that got me curious. He mostly talked about his favorite part
of the show, which was the Bad Idea Bears, and hardly at all about the music,
so it wasn't until it appeared on a binaries newsgroup that I investigated.
And, as I said, I have now bought the CD retail to "legitimize" that.
