You need to understand that people on this NG are far more interested
in the music than they are in achieving that last bit of sonic
splendor. They don't really want to spend 10 minutes cleaning an LP
side in order to play 20 minutes of music.

I was an obsessive LP cleaner, back when I listened to LPs for pleasure.
(Now I only play them to dub onto DAT for remastering).

I knew something was off-kilter when I realized it took me longer to clean
an LP with Mozart's Marriage of Figaro Overture than to listen to the piece.
