Is eBay acting funny for anyone else? All my saved searches--for CDs--default to LPs now, and typing in a name, say, "Shaham", I get "DVD, HD DVD & Blu-ray", "Books", "Entertainment Memorabilia" and "Postcards" as categories, but no "CD". Some CDs show up, but it isn't sorting right. Any ideas?
Shaham gave me 5 CDs in the list, along with (valid) entries for DVD and Postcards (a lodge named Shaham).

My main saved Classical search (CDs, ending first, PayPal only) is working OK.

Maybe it should be pointed out that the 'directions' for those saved searches are stored on the individual's computer, not at eBay.

bl
No they're not.

Steve

So you're saying it should not be pointed out?

bl
No, because eBay saved searches (in "My eBay") are most definitely NOT "stored on the individual's computer".

Steve

Irrelevant.

bl
Is that "Sorry, I was wrong" in some language I am not familiar with?

Steve

No.

bl

So you're saying that the Sun *does* rise in the West?

No. If you folks will just pay attention, I did not at any time aver that eBay Saved Searches data are saved on the customer's computer. I merely asked if the OP should be so informed.

Jeez.

bl

"Jeez"?

"Pay attention"?

You said nothing about data, you said the SEARCH was stored on the local computer. Neither the data nor the search query are stored on the local PC. You can login to eBay from any PC and all your searches are available.

There is absolutely nothing to inform the OP or anyone else.
