Hello Jeff,

The Irish comedian, Frank Carson, asserted that an intellectual is
anyone who can listen to the 'William Tell' overture without thinking
of The Lone Ranger, so maybe this was rattling around my skull when I
posted my comments. I don't doubt that there are some film scores that
can stand on their own feet, but right now, I find it difficult to
think of one.
