to Simon Roberts: "Our guest tonight has graced the floors of music shops
all over the world. He's touched every cd in every bin in every store, in
every land and in doing so he's touched our hearts. His work is the gold
standard for all collectors, amateur and professional, young and old, born
and unborn, he is in the words of the great Japanese poet and collector Eric
Nagamine-.".the sun which we joyfully orbit.".the collector's studio proudly
welcomes to our stage .Simon Roberts. (Oh Yeah! Whistles heard ...several
people already teary-eyed. Two students go into convulsions" Roberts
enters, stylishly scruffy wearing a nehru jacket. After a long pointless
discussion, Lipton says " Mr. Roberts here are your students." Hi, Mr.
Roberts. I'm Bozena Jugophon a third year student at the Collector's
studio. When selecting a cd, where does one find the Truth. How do you make
an Authentic choice?" Roberts chuckles, shakes his head, then becomes
deadly serious. "Jugs, I think when you see a rare box set or a single (shot
of all students knodding in unison) cd you need to "ride the wave" so to
speak-it's a crossing and you just hope there's something there beneath your
feet when you make that choice. (students erupt. Lipton hugs himself)
