Emerson snoozes through Brahms (Review, Joshua Kosman - San Francisco
Chronicle)

If the above is a review of Emerson's new recording of the Brahms String
Quartets, in contrast to that, the conclusion of Jerry Dubins laudatory
review in Fanfare is: For sheer executant brilliance, interpretive
insight, and fantastic recording, this set needs no aging to be inducted
into the Hall of Fame.

Wasn't the Emerson's debut album Schumann and Brahms? They weren't a
snooze then.
