finding them wanting.

Ahem... what do you think of Peter Gelb, Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma? Some
days I get the bear, I do.

I find them wanting because, in various ways, they are spoiling the art
that I love so dearly.

One further thought about Yo-Yo Ma: the difference between him and, say,
Itzhak Perlman is that Perlman, when he went on his klezmer kick, didn't
pursue it to the point of ceasing to record classical music in the process.
