What they've done from a technological sound point is impressive.
I have my CD copy of the '55 recording in my CD player and the
SACD in my SACD player, and when I toggle back and forth,
everything sounds the same except the tape hiss (that is, there
is no tape hiss on the SACD).

How well were you able to judge the "performance"? How close does the
recreation seem to come to the original?
