free shipping (provided you order more than $20) and deliver extremely
quickly (often by the following day if you happen to live in Northern
California).
My major disappointment with them is that their web site doesn't let
you know whether or not a given item is in stock or obtainable through
them before you order, and thus I'm often left waiting for a month or
more while an order sits in limbo. (The site does show "in stock,"
"special order," etc, but these designations often turn out to be
meaningless--"in stock" can change to "special order" as soon as you
submit your order.)
I agree on these comments. A few items I have ordered resulted in delays of
2-3 months. Eventually they arrived but it would have been nice to know when
I ordered it could take forever. (I guess I know now).
I still enjoy their Los Angels Classical Annex store, even with its limited
hours (they close at 8PM nightly. I am a night owl and used to appreciate
their 12 midnight closing time).
