You have got me. I do know that Twain's name often pops up in quizzes, which
is, that his real name is Samuel Langhorne Clemens (prompting one to wonder
whether Roger Clemens, the baseball pitcher, is anywhere near related).

But there is so much of Twain that I haven't read yet, and mouthwatering
titles such as The Tragedy of Pudd'nhead Wilson, his non-fiction, and
essays, beckon. I'll have to make a bigger effort, as the library system in
Taree seem to have him filed in the Children's section only <g>

But I keep coming up against some very good quotes, all known by Twain fans
of course, that they must be hidden somewhere in his output.
