If I had an opinion to express to Mr. Deacon -- if I were familiar enough
with him and what he's said to even form an opinion to be expressed --
then I would do so. I only wished to demonstrate to you the effect that
*your* behavior has on your credibility with an outside observer who
has no personal interest in either you or Mr. Deacon. (Incidentally,
my comments were based on observations of your writing, over a period of
months, to a number of other people, and not just on your exchanges with
Mr. Deacon.) But you seem determined to get me to "take sides," much
as a kindergarten student might insist "But he started it first!" when
confronted with his own misbehavior. Sorry, but I'm not interested.
I've said what I intended to say, and I really don't care which of you
"wins" your debate, so this is the last I'll say on the matter.
